Conceptual Photography Workshop

Hosted by Andre Badenhorst (7 & 8 April 2018)
Book nowCourse Details

You might not know that you know Andre Badenhorst, but chances are that you surely do in some way or another. After all, he has been creating thought-provoking, revolutionary conceptual images for most of your favourite South African bands and publications for more than a decade.

More than just a fuzzy face, Andre and his team at Blackframe Photography have been conceptualising visions for artists like Fokofpolisiekar and Jack Parow for many a year, whilst also being featured, with great acclaim, in Taalgenoot and building brands along the way.

Though Andre is not one to boast, we would like to chip in and mention that he is a Fujifilm X photographer, which not only makes him a seriously cool dude, but also a Fujifilm brand ambassador.

So, if you want to take a photo like a rockstar, Andre will be hosting a not-to-be-missed, two-day conceptual photography workshop at Prop Stars in New Doornfontein, Jozi, on the 7th and 8th of April 2018.

“Oh, a workshop, should I bring a pillow and a notepad?”

Fear not, for this two-day practical workshop, sponsored by Fujifilm, GODOX, Prop Stars and Hollywood Costumes, will have you up and about with interactive set-building, model dressing and make up demonstrations to fuel your passion and ignite your own conceptual fire.

This exclusive glimpse through the creative lens of one of the most prominent photographic architects in South Africa is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hone your skills and learn more about conceptual photography.
